Customised lifting systems

In-line lifting tables are frequently special designs which have to be integrated in the environment of a complete machine line. Special requirements include high load-bearing capacities of 100 t and more, frequent work cycles and high lifting and lowering speeds. Hydraulic scissor lifting tables are often characterised by their sturdy and compact design. For over 40 years, LAWECO in-line lifting tables made in Espelkamp have been used in practically all industries where loads have to be moved.

The requirements for an in-line lifting table may differ widely depending on the machine line. In-line lifting tables must be able to fit seamlessly into the sequence of the machine line in question. The loads specified by the customer must be moved in the indicated cycle times. Frequently, lifting tables also have to bear additional loads, such as lateral forces or the load of vehicles crossing the table. This increases the service life and minimises repair times and downtimes.

A drive is chosen based on the requirement profile of the lifting system and, of course, on its surroundings. The vast majority of in-line lifting tables is equipped with hydraulic drive systems. Especially in the upper load range, there are barely alternatives to hydraulic lifting systems. However, hydraulic systems are frequently considered unsuitable for particularly sensitive applications. Instead, spindle, belt and push-pull chain drives are used for these applications. The maintenance work on in-line lifting tables is largely based on their number of lifting cycles or operating hours. LAWECO generally recommends regular annual maintenance to ensure operational reliability according to § 16 AMVO (German general regulations for master craftsman’s examinations). The lifting table maintenance can be adapted to the general maintenance times and downtimes of the machine line. LAWECO offers a service hotline as well as tailored maintenance agreements and customised training courses for maintenance personnel. This service is often used by large end customers who use a great number of LAWECO lifting systems.
